Hello hello helloooo!! I hope you’re all having a lovely morning and have an exciting day ahead. Now, today I’m going to give you some advice that helps me through life. I will be talking about 3 categories: exercise/health, staying happy and work. I feel like this time of the year, everyone needs some motivation, whether it’s getting back into exercising, starting to feel sad because summer’s nearly over, or trying to get back doing work after the holidays. I know I am sure as hell trying to do all of these things but these tips have definitely helped me.
Exercising and eating healthy
–get a workout or run in before you do anything else..the morning is the best time to exercise; it gets you energised and ready for the day, and you also don’t dwell on it throughout the day, knowing you still have to do it
–make a workout playlist of upbeat songs that will keep you moving
–workout with your friends so you can motivate eachother
–make a routine of exercising so you get used to doing it
–only buy healthy food so that when you’re hungry, there is only healthy food in your cupboards so you are basically forcing yourself to eat it
–slowly cut down on unhealthy food so you aren’t always craving it
–make your whole family eat healthy so there’s no temptation to steal a treat from your partner or kids
–surround yourself only with people that make you happy so no one is bringing you down
–make a list of things that make you happy, so that you can refer back to it when you’re feeling down
–watch a film or tv series to take your mind off your troubles
–keep occupied with things you love so that you’re so busy loving life that you don’t have time for regrets, worry or sadness
–try to smile at as many people as you can a day..this may seem stupid but it works because they smile back which fills you with happiness and inside you know you’re doing a good deed.
–spend as much time as you can with family and friends because they are the most important and always know you best
–find a new hobby that you actually enjoy and aren’t doing it for your friend or the health benefits
–always think of the benefits of what you’re doing and the larger outcome of your work
–make sure you do one thing a day that makes you happy, preferably after work/school/college so that you have something to look forward to at the end of the day
-if you have the choice, always work as something you enjoy, never for the money
-on the other hand, think of the money you are getting by doing all the work and think of all the things you’re going to spend it on
–buy fun stationary or fun things to work with to keep you happy whilst working
–pack something exciting for lunch so you have something to look forward to in the morning
–keep a picture of your partner, kids, mum, dad or family in your purse or on your desk so that they can keep you smiling and remind you why you are working so hard
